Some reactions do not match their trigger. A disproportionate fear of something that has never harmed you, a relationship that repeats with different faces, an emotional response that surprises you before it surprises anyone else. When the present does not explain the intensity, there is usually an earlier origin.
What it involves
Regression therapy guides you, in a state of deep relaxation, to the moment that pattern was formed. It is not about reliving anything painfully: you are accompanied at a distance, observing the scene, so that it can be understood and given a different ending.
The work is not in the remembering but in what comes after: releasing the emotional charge attached to that moment, which still fires today in situations that resemble it.
About past lives
This is the part that raises the most questions, so let us be clear: some people experience it as a memory from another life, others read it as a symbolic construction of their own mind. Both readings are legitimate and neither changes the work.
What matters therapeutically is not settling the literal origin of the scene, but that you can recognise the pattern, let it go and stop repeating it.
Before considering a session
Regression is not a good first step for everyone, and it does not replace ongoing psychological or medical treatment. If you are going through an acute crisis, the right professional care for that situation comes first.
The free consultation is where we assess whether it makes sense in your particular case. Sometimes the answer is yes; sometimes it is that you are better off starting somewhere else.
